The temptation to have glow in the dark wheels is serious... https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/mp/luminous/luminous-led-light-up-inline-skate-wheels-night-sky-80-mm-set-of-4/_/R-p-ea804a57-8970-4d16-b37c-1368a3712c92?mc=ea804a57-8970-4d16-b37c-1368a3712c92_c3&c=dark%20grey

If only the wheels were a bit softer, that way they’d absorb more of the shock from the lovely London pavement instead of transferring it to the relatively fragile tubes.

I don’t know if to blame you or thank you (thank you!).

Genuinely grateful. Now just need to get my will updated in case I get stabbed for the damn thing.

2 speed shifter in knackered. Does anyone have a spare for sale or is there an aftermarket upgrade out there?

If you don't mind putting some work in, you could use a fork suspension lockout remote switch. That's what I currently run, but will probably change to a friction shifter soon.
As for a spare (pre 2017), I'm pretty sure I sold it, but will double check.

Anyone used or got a rear bag for their rack? Pointless or practical?

Sound!

I have a friend who might. Which ones are they, the ones that make a standard stem height with M bars, more like the S bars?
-

Flat bar - zero rise - a little sweep.
I think you are thinking of the kuosac mid bar which is a little lower and wider than standard m bar.

You're right I am. Pics please and I'll share. Thanks.

Look out for Alan partridge on a Brompton. I was in the Brompton junction checking out the new g line ( very impressed by the way) and the man himself walked in and asked about a titanium electric Brompton. The chap serving him was none the wiser of who he was, and no one bothered him. I know he is working round the corner on dr Strangelove ..

Partridge wouldn't ride a Ti electric.
He would ride an m-type 3 speed and pretend to be a man of the people.https://youtu.be/IdaOo6OkP8E?feature=shared&t=60
Coogan on the other hand just has too much money

Yes, it’s an extender (seatpost)!
I had a set of metal ones and they dented pretty quickly, so rolled with a 'lump'. I wouldn't recommend them if you ever roll the bike for even moderate distances. Went back to the Brompton plastic easy wheels and they were brilliant.
I've now put some of those Decathlon rollerblade wheels on and, although they stick out a bit further, they roll beautifully.
