He should claim for a hire Brompton from the car driver/their insurance.

All of my stock is sold I’m afraid and insurance costs mean I’m no longer in the business of making stuff for others.
@Zebra_Cyclist forks pop up pretty regularly on eBay, the prices vary tremendously but set up a saved search and in a lot less than 9 months you’ll be able to pick up a pair for cheap.

That would be grand thank you.

I’ve not had to pay any customs on Blue Lug orders but the max I’ve spent there is about £150 in one go.

I have a 2016 S2L which has the minimods 3sp conversion on it.
I now have a very hilly commute in one direction - what would be the best option for gearing on the brompton, without spending a fortune to make it more usable?

44t chainring. Don't forget to shorten the chain

long shot - but does anyone have a spare right pedal? i bought a pair of aceofix quick release ones and didn't put on the clips. the pedal fell off somewhere and i don't know where.

Pretty sure I have a spare* standard Brompton RHS pedal. Where are you? I'm in Barnes SW13.
- I changed the pedals for an aftermarket set and have managed to lose some of the bits from the LHS pedal, so the RH one is just lonely and unwanted...

I also have a set of brompton brake levers going spare if anyone wants them (like this, but a pair: https://brilliantbikes.co.uk/brompton-brake-parts-and-cables/324-brompton-right-brake-lever-s-p-type.html)

Up to you, happy to post if you have no easy alternative. I don't want anything for the pedal, maybe a forum donation in exchange for the postage?

Anyone run the mks ezy compact without the yellow safety rings ?
I’m super annoyed because I didn’t really appreciate they actually make removing the pedal/s a fiddly faff.

Saw the disc brake one being ridden on Oxford st this morning. Launching next week. Was a nice sand colour. Bloke riding it was friendly but clearly didn't want any photos being taken as he shot off after we spoke for a bit.

I have them and am wondering the same thing.
When purchased I thought it’s nice to be able to take off either pedal, but in reality I never take them off. Whereas with the tpw ones I had was taking the removable one off constantly.... -
• #15895
Not sure if this is what you need but seems like a good deal!
-
• #15896
I did for a while without issue.
However when I mentioned this to @Sergeant_Pluck he told me that without the yellow clips his pedal would come adrift before he'd made much progress.
Make of that what you will. -

That'd be awesome - but let me confirm next week. Long-story-short, but i lost them in Milton Keynes station and the staff reckon they have it, but i didn't have long enough to wait for them to go and find it in lost property before my train, so i'm going back next week to collect (hopefully)!

I don’t have the rings fitted, am removing the r/h pedal at every fold.
As long as the collar isn’t stuck in the open position the pedal stays put.
Off topic, is there an upper limit on no customs from Japan?
