very interested in those for better folded rolling, but is it going to block the dynamo rear light tho? this photo doesn't look great for that... 😒https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/images/products/medium/57385_1.jpg

With similar cables and a Rohloff?

Bought some of those Ergon grips but have been putting off swapping them in. How tricky a job is it? Remember having to do quite a lot of wrestling the last time I swapped the grips on a Brompton, but could well have been poor technique…

Easy job, not sure why you struggled.
Have fitted both ga2 & gp2 grips without issues. -

I think it was more getting the old ones off than putting the new ones on, now I think about it… Anyway, thanks - clearly I’m just conjuring excuses not to do the job! I will stop procrastinating.
Edit to add - aaah, the new grips aren’t glued on. That’s what I remember being a faff.

Thanks, got one of those and temporarily put it on. They're great.
But, I'm more looking for something that will connect with the battery on the bike, as this is brompton is going to be used only for transport.

Yes, makes wheeling the bike about much easier.
Nitto one isn't too bad, it's Cr-Mo though so will last longer than standard Brompton but also weigh a bit more.

Black or silver?

Do you have a link? Didn’t realise they did one! If it’s Cro-Mo, reckon it’d be ok to be bent a little to 135mm rear (alfine conversion), never wanted to do this with the alu ones

Pretty sure you should be able to use washers to shim it to fit.
If you're keen I could get hold of one.

Looking something to roll easier for the partner. Potentially not too much weight too.

Fitted these to 135mm fine! Just bend the tabs / stays

With similar cables and a Rohloff?
..no, was just referring to the colour / paintjob.
It had some hand-written / drawn stuff under the clear coat. -

The weight difference is minimal

My two Bromptons.
Had a nice tour yesterday with a friend using one of them.
Lovely rides.
The blu one is a bit lighter than standard has it has a titanium seatpost and pedals.
The black one has the Swytch conversion kit.

before I post an advert, anyone here want my ~2012 M3L? £650. Bought it last year and it was hardly used, I've probably done 600km on it max.

Has anyone got a spare front wheel knocking about they want to get rid of? Doesn't need to be anything special.
-
• #11421
I have the one I had replaced with the electric kit if you're interested.
Pick up from Brentford tomorrow, Tue or when I'm back after the 15th?Taken off the all black Bromtpon above.
The wheel has seen very little use, probably done less than 10 short (pub-like) trips on it. -

I have a silver one going spare

Rohloff bike sold but buyer didn’t pay… who does that! 🤬
£2500 bargain before I strip it for parts

isn't that £500 more than it sold for on ebay?
saw one just like that in Berlin yesterday, paint looked awesome in the flesh 👍👍
