Slightly OT for this ^ but does anyone any experience of the www.bromptondock.co.uk yet?
I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious but it would appear that you can borrow one for short periods very cheaply - just £2.50 for every 24 hours in fact. Which makes my potential plan to ask one of you 'orrible lot to loan me (an additional) one for a few days fairly redundant - if it would only cost £7.50 for a long weekend, without the additional concern of using someone else's 'baby'!

Rod that is a really good idea. Just had a look at where the docks are around London - I actually thought there would be more by now. That might be a viable option for other people that are lurking on this thread.

Loic, Dropout - What a wonderful day!
A thoroughly civilised day out, amazing brownies, flapjacks, pints, off roading, nearly running over a spaniel followed by a marvellous late breakfast at Jacks whilst watching the worlds.
Rep all round!Cazakstan: I need to apologise for the domino Brompton accident at Trafalgar square which scratched your top tube - I felt bloody awful. Please let me buy you a pint or three in the future alternatively I'm quite happy to let you at my Brompton with a rusty screwdriver...

Yes - it was brilliant. Sorry to bail early, but family duties (and roast chicken) were calling.
Managed to rack up 40 miles all in - not a bad days work on Bromptons. Will be planning in more off-road brompton excursions soon.

^^clefty as I said to pops don't worry about it, takes the pressure off me worrying about my first scratch haha! It's more a scuff anyway, it's not major damage!
I do love beer so if you want to buy me a pint I won't say no but don't worry anymore on it. :-)

I would like to make a suggestion for the next ride (as there is obviously going to be one)
http://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/brompton-cemeteryI've ridden through here a number of times, and it was on the 50 fixed ladies ride.

Apologies for the terrible blackberry pics, but...
An aggressive kick off the front from Putney's premier raconteur is keenly marked by mysterious lumberjack...
The peloton gives chase, sheltering from the headwind behind their ever faithful domestique...
The autobus approaches, channelling the spirit of Didi Senft in their desperation to outrun the broom wagon...

He's now the Elephant & Castle's premier raconteur.
Bravo!
