That sounds a bit shit. Hope that you are ok.
Chris Compton in Catford may not be your closest, but they are pretty good. -

Hope you are okay?
I know I’m in Somerset but easy to post over, especially as I built it originally ;)

Shit sounds horrid. Hope all is ok

Moose in Colliers Wood used to (and may well still do so) sell Bromptons, never had mine serviced there - but had loads of Mtb work and purchases. Greg the owner is a nice bloke and not a rip off merchant.

Thanks for the support guys. It wasn’t a nice experience, two guys posing as Deliveroo drivers; they had stolen the moped and the coat apparently. Knocked me off and stamped on me but thankfully it was in front of a school when people were picking up their kids so lots of witnesses!

Sorry to hear that, sounds horrific.
Was that over Wimbledon way? Worried of Sw19.

Best way to get them buggers in evenly. Lovely tool by the way!
The manual does also recommend using a hammer which I find rather bemusing...

Been using the small park till hammer for years but this just feels proper

Thank you for complimenting my tool…

Never liked the hammer method, did it once ah yeah just doesn't sit flush.
Now working myself, expect more fun stuff.
You setting up your own place? Congrats man and about time you do!

Currently working from home, tbh I’m more kitted out than previous workshop and set up to do more. I have invested well into my tools over the last few years especially on bits like that bushing press!

I use an old front axle and two track nuts

Works the same, just less shiny than the bsc tool

Ooh, does the rear frame clip work alright with my seatclamp?
I tried the qr assembly from my other bike in it but wasn't sure how well it was actually going to work with a rear triangle.

It will do!

Awesome!

I’ll be working from home, servicing, repairs, upgrades and custom builds as well as part sales; basically anything Brompton!

Do you help to save/repair/fix Chinese Brompton? (obviously there is some issues with 3rd party parts issues).

I’ll always take a look!

If anyone is looking for the pre 2019 stem bolt and cone expander I now have these due in a couple of days!
Anywhere good in South London/Wimbledon way for a full service of a Brompton? Got knocked off when someone in a Deliveroo driver uniform was trying to steal it off me.
