Can I suggest removing the Dublin forum from UKFGSS which was last used in September '09. There is a site www.dublinfgss.com for local issues & events. Any of the Dubliners here seem to use the general forums for info.

Happy to do so, but at the time the guys wanted that stuff left behind. The forum is closed so no new posts can be accepted, and the first thread is a sticky that points all people that visit it to the new dublinfgss.com forum. Additionally, by that sticky being there the Dublin forum gets some residual pagerank from LFGSS that helps them be discovered by Google.

Happy to delete it if that's what the dublinfgss.com admins want.

Pretty much.

I actually get stressed by having ideas which I don't execute. So the longer without me having done something I think would help, the more I get stressed that people are losing out on something and that the forum is going to hell. Doing work to give people new stuff that is good for them and that helps the forum therefore relaxes me.

There... unregistered folk cannot view the members listing.

Which has the side effect of keeping Google away from your visitor messages too.

Well done david, I like the idea of silencing the classified adds if required a lot. I'm not good at adjusting to new things, keep losing the bikes and bits and classifieds sections at the bottom of the page (just me being retarded). The UKFGSS section breaks the page up, maybe shunt it to the top/ bottom?

Now that SJS are no longer affiliated to the site, can we have the old banners back?
