This exists, 8kg of crisp packets gives equivalent of £16 to your chosen school/charity etc.

Not a crisp but am addicted to these.

These truly are magnificent. And vegan I believe. Looking on their website I might move to America just to try the mass of flavours they offer

A real treat. Washed down with a nice cold can of Coke or a pale ale.
I need to get to bed but I’m thinking of how easily I could drive somewhere that sold these.

The buffalo sauce ones are the best imo

I recently rediscovered Roysters T-bone Steak flavour crisps. So bad they're good. 6 pack is just 95p in Asda near work.

Agreed.
Although the peanut butter filled ones are pretty special.

Fuck. Those were so good. I distinctly remember being about 10 or 11, 1995, parents got their first membership to Costco and came back with so many things. I saw these crisps and thought they were some sort of cut price wannabe, but they turned out to be heaven.

That reminds me: Yo Sushi have a kids menu, from which you can order skinny fries. (Chips).
They are hands down the best fries I have ever eaten.

Get to Poundland in Dalston. It's like a crisps musuem, they have Roysters.
-
• #415
Yep, Poundland on Green Lanes is the same.
I'd say these are the Poundland nostalgia winner

Pickled onion Seabrooks are my choice at the moment. The flavour is so strong!

Careful, Ed--I'm sure you checked, but a lot of Crunchips aren't vegan. There's a blog post from 2018 here (in German):
https://nochsoein.blog/2018/11/27/diese-produkte-der-firma-lorenz-sind-vegan/
The first list in the post is of the only products that are said to be completely vegan by the manufacturer (based on information from their suppliers), and the second list is of those with possible cross-contamination ('made in a factory that handles animal products').
Obviously, this may be out-of-date and products may be renamed for the British market.
There are other German crisp brands that make good crisps, but I think all of them now use whey powder and stuff like that in at least some crisps. No doubt completely vegan manufacturers will have emerged and will keep emerging, but the traditional ones have a decidedly mixed record.

Not the same now they no longer say on the packet

I'd have to queue to get into Asda to get them now. 2019 I could just grab a multipack on my lunch break #goldentimes

Ooof thanks Oliver, noted. I rarely eat crisps these days and if I’m being honest I’ve been known to play games of chance with the ‘made in a factory which also handles....’ products from time to time. I’m a terrible human :/
99.9% sure the ones pictured didn’t list whey or milk powder in the ingredients which is certainly rare and I wouldn’t have bought them if they did so I presume they fall into the cross-contamination category.....
Will be more diligent in future....
