They wouldn't bother, DJ.
They'd just arrest you.
According to the forum, you're guilty of everything. -

I'm certainly prepared to act as a witness to any crimes they want to fit DJ up for.

This looks like it's gotten a bit out of hand. Like I said in the other thread, I have given a tracking number to paypal and have records of all pm's between me and xrawrx. I feel like I'm in a pretty decent position to get my money back from paypal/cc company, even if it will take a good while, so I'm gonna leave it with them for the time being.

As mentioned in some other post, write it as if you were a retired sergeant-major from Tunbridge Wells.

Sorry to those who may find this somehow wrong, but I'm starting to feel pretty sorry for the lad.
Same here. I think somewhere along the line, either Paypal has fucked up or the many bank accounts involved has made it too complex for the wee hipsters to get their heads around in terms of where the money has ended up/being held.

I dunno, I don't feel like what happened with me was an accident. Either he is trying to scam me out of my money or his Dad/whoever had no knowledge of the transaction and has mistaken it for fraud.
The sale was completed 6 weeks ago, all paid up no problems, and out of the blue he wants his money back...

Oh sorry, I forgot about your problem as well as Beaue's. That's a bit dodgy. I retract my last comment.

.......threatening for £70, wtf?!
£70 is alot of money to some people. I could afford to lose £20-£30, but £70 would screw me over badly.
We are all of different means on this forum. One person buys a bike for £3,000, and another buys one for £299. Both spending as much as they could possibly afford.
If that £70 were either for a bike part, or could have been used for the electricity bill, we don't know. People do make sacrifices, and it hurts to be taken advantage of.
It could also just be the principle of being suckered by someone you felt you could trust. If someone took £70 of mine in a dishonest fashion, it would not be pretty after that. It may only be money to you, but you may be richer than others of us.

If someone stole £70 of mine I would literally hunt them down, but that's mainly because I'm a tight bastard/poor student.
