I recently sold a b43 front wheel to a wheel to a kid on this forum named xrawrx.......
Name and shame his details or either convince him to do the right thing!
Err, haven't you just named and shamed?
It can take quite a while for paypal refunds to show on any statement so give it a little more time. I wouldn't hand over another £70 if I hadn't received the refund from the original payment and, in all likelihood, neither would you. If it goes on for much longer though, feel free to hunt him down.

I agree i wouldn't hand over another 70 quid too, but it has obviously been returned to his card. Why would he be rejecting my calls? Hanging up on me when knowing it was me?

He answered his phone friday afternoon. I rang on priv said " hey mate it me blah blah" to a response of "oh oh oh u got the wrong number mate" phone hangs up
I then tried ringing back, first got rejected then rang back with number sending on and he just let it ring out! several times..

I wanted cash upfront, and he said can he plz pay via paypal as it was easier for him cause daddy was paying for it. So i said yes and checked if it was in b4 i gave the wheel over.
He did everything right untill he realised hey iv got his money and wheel i might try keep it.

you should have asked him to wire transfer the money to a friend first, then show you a copy of the receipt to clarify that he actually has the funding - after that, no more action needed from his part for his convenience.
well, next time. bad luck mate. i hope he'll sort that out. let's give him the chance to come forward and resolve the prob - if it's his dad's card, he may not be able to check for the refund easily.
after that, i think, it's time to bring the pitch forks out.

I note that he's currently trying to sell a hub, I strongly advise people not to purchase from him.
beaue why don't you set up a fake account, ask to pay via paypal, go to meet him in disguise, and then pick it up. When his bank account is not verified and he loses the money back to you he will have had a taste of his own medicine. Plus you will get some money back towards your losses

OK..
I recently sold a b43 front wheel to a wheel to a kid on this forum named xrawrx, he paid via paypal as a gift so we met up and i gave him the wheel. As soon as i got home i tried transfering the money over to my bank account, but cause my bank account wasn't verified with paypal, by law they have to reverse the payment back to the original sender.So i contacted him telling what has happened, and we rearranged to meet again to give the money back to me. As you guessed he was no where to be seen with my money or wheel. Its since been a week and a half and iv been constantly trying to ring/txt him which he either doesnt reply, answer and rejects my calls.
He made up an excuse that the money never returned to him and is waiting for paypal to return it him. I have since spoken to paypal and they confirmed it has definatly been returned to his card. Paypal said they can't cover me as it was paid as a personal transaction/gift.
Now i don't understand why this idiot would go through all this hassle for £70. Firstly i have done him a favor by selling him the wheel at a cheap price, secondly its 70 quid dammmiitttt. He said he has been on lfgss for a few years now and never had problems with payments/transactions ect ect. I have given him more than enough chances to return the money and still nothing.
Does anyone know, bought/sold anything from/to this fool as i want my money? Name and shame his details or either convince him to do the right thing!
