Anyway, the proper name for them is 'inverse compacts'.

Lo-pro actually helped me with my back and the nerve inflammation in my... well, butt.
Gave me neck problem, though. Especially when ridden while wearing a helmet and glasses which slide on top of my nose (the line of sight was actually covered by the top of the glasses' frame). -

all these guys that wack on some risers and say "its nippy around town" are talking bollocks.

i have some pursuit bullhorns on mine and i just love it.

I'm glad you like it. I did.
I'm building geared lo-pro now, but it takes so long to find all the parts, that I decided today to put it together with risers and see if it actually fits me, before I spend even more money (got Croce d'Aune and Deltas which I can't bloody tighten without 3.5mm allen key).
It looks like the frame might be slightly too tall.

You can get 3.5 mm allen keys on Ebay for a couple of quid. I might have one knocking around still from my foray into Delta brakes, let me check.

My wife is allergic to eBay - I've just got overexcited about a panto SRec seatpost.
Let me know. If not, I will have to try to use a suitable hex to fill the hole. -

I wouldn't recommend it as a permanent solution, but I found a Torx wrench would get the bolt fairly tight.

By the way, even if you did use the right allen key, did you manage to get the cable and nut tight?
It doesn't look like I can achieve enough braking power. I had to trim the pursuit bars to make sure the levers go all the way down. -

They look great but let's just say their stopping power leaves a fair bit to be desired. There is a very good page on setting them up somewhere on the internetz, if I get a chance I'll look it out, but it was on one of the Campag/Campy fan type sites.

Yes, I've heard these thing about Deltas.
I just want to build the whole bike properly (NOS frame). Probably will end up taking a picture, getting bored and then* fixing* it :-) -

**What is a Lo Pro? ... **and yes, I have tried the search function...
What about internet search engine like google cbass?
I came up with this insightful info
"it looks like a funny* bike because we are conditioned to the look of a typical road frame with a 73 degree head angle with a 72 degree seat tube."
*Ugly?"The rider on the dedicated Low-Pro returns an improvement in performance of 4—9 sec per mile over a tri-bar modified road frame. Of course good legs, heart and lungs help."

"Every hipster knows that funnybikes AKA Lo Pro TT and pursuit bikes is where it's at nowadays, right?"

What else do you need to know?

A little known fact is that lo pros were a fiendish ruse conceived and propogated by the Italian Association of Osteopaths to ensure they had a steady stream of clients in the future.
