  • I lost my BELK mallet sheath and mallets on Sat night at like 1am. Ray and Jono were riding into the cornfield. I tried it and hit a massive ditch (covered by weeds). I flew over my handle bars and landed on my shoulder and head. My sheath broke off my bag (the clips snapped) but I didn't realize it until the next day.

  • There is a corner of a foreign field that is forever Chukker.

  • Hi lads,

That was great to meet some of you guys from London. That's true, Andy, playing with us in the Lil'7, didn't received anything (maybe he should have jumped in the arena when that team was called: Max was in, didn't neither received anything, but I gave him some toe-clips thrown at the end), and I'm really sorry for that.
Andy, you did a great job, and I'd really like to arrange this, if it is possible ;)
Get in contact with me (for instance via the BrusselsBikePolo website, under the "contact" section in the sidebar or on FB: Mortimer Lojka), give me your address, and I'll send you some belgian beers !
Anyway, as I told, I'm seriously thinking about coming to play in London after Berlin: I'll try to get some people with me.

    Cheers,

    Morti

  • (I was the guy with the red socks-shoes and the pista handlebar: some of you received Brussels Polo stickers)

  • ha chris

  • Morti, the NOTHING comment was a gag/heckle that arose after I beat Andy at an arm-wrestle the night before and then was shit talking him pre-game when he was playing with Lil' 5.

But thinking about it, Andy placed better than me, so umm, yeah... maybe I'll by him a beer or something for you.

    Lefties suck.

  • Get over it jon!

  • Jon, you've got a freaky right arm. Have it looked at. It's not right.

Good to meet and play with you Morti. There was no way I was expecting prizes, I was just a sub. See you in Berlin and London in August.

  • Sorry Jon, I didn't understood it was a private joke.
Anyway, Andy deserves his beers, and maybe you too (I can feel you're really mad about Marc and needs something to calm you down ;) so just give me a physical mail address where I can send you something !

  • not having to go to work today was, umm, awesome. as was this tournament. i had the best weekend. thanks so much to Marc for organising it, it was bloody brilliant. venue - amazing, lunch - amazing, Florent's parents YARD - amazing.
Big thank you to Florent and Slyvan and their family for letting us pitch up in the yard, feeding us breakfast, and making us coffee and baking bread and butter pudding too! that was really lovely, very grateful.
The road trip was really fun. Good driving Jon and Ray! and good organising Jon! (drama student). thanks for all the top tips on position and blocking, Jon, though you only gave them to me once my team knocked you out..
Adam, you stink, you stinky fucker ;) wool was a BAD choice. But when I got home, I realisd that the chicken and sausage was contributing a lot to the stink. So sorry, buddy.
Malice boys - great to camp with you, and hang out for the weekend! hadn't really spent much time with you lads before, you\re all tip top :) you\re palace was amazing..
Robb is my favourite - such a good listener.
My team was so cool! Best goalie, MVP and a very lucky best goal scorer! It was bare fun playing on Lil'9

I'm still polishing my lockring, and I am wearing all my prizes.

    Sigh, lovely lovely weekend.

Please tell Robin that I apologise

  • I'm wondering why I didn't go ? It sounds like it was ace.

(Dr nun-chucker you has awesome combat skills.)

  • Round house kicks for the win... Matt takes that shit seriously yo. (I actually would never fight Vidal now, he has the combat ninja skillz innit.)

Van Barben, why did you let me call you Robin and Robin, Greg all day???? hahahah i am so sorry :)

I did the same because of your "sound" wisdom. I even started correcting other people... sorry Greg and Robin!
