As for the kerning.. well.. could be a little tighter on the last S.. but then I'm a massive design pedant.

yup.. bugger to get right.. I don't know much about printing on clothes, but you could never get those colours from CMYK litho.

Would be spot colours all the way. I imagine it would be screen printed anyway?

No, it is kerned. It's just been bent into shape with photoshop to fit the image after it's been kerned. Though it's possible its all just done with metric tracking, which is why the s is out #lazy
