I can see the first week turning onto a Sky vs Garmin bitching session to be honest.
-
• #28
Brilliant :)

Fingers crossed. I'm sure they'll be some trash talking in the build up to the TTT and neither Wiggins or Millar are known for biting their tongue.

"When I have my hair short, I'm a cyclist. When my hair's long, like Keith Richards, I'm Bradley Wiggins."
[quote]ermm, ok.

try the links through cyclingfans.com, or Gazetta sport tv has it with authentic commentary.
-
• #34
Jaques, goat cheese tart and the Giro. Happy as a pig in shit.
-
• #35
Yeah, the Gazetta stream's fine. Go direct, or use the steephill.tv hub (cyclingfans alternative).
-
• #36
PS. I think you need the Silverlight plug-in installed for the Gazetta site, or maybe it's the Rai one, or both. Dunno, but useful to have it installed whatever, despite it being MS shite.

working on the gazetta feed.
eurosport commentary isn't but it's no biggie -
• #38
authentic commentary.
disappointingly,it's not so authentic as to be half-cut and giggling through a face full of 'the most amazing apple cake. ever...'
-
• #39
^^I think the audio will be on from 15h30. No biggie for me either, as I'm working in a library till 6pm.

not the most interesting cycling...
team time trial is going to be interesting before the hills.
the rabobank riders are massive, my pennies are on them in the TTT. -

Top ride from Wiggo
-
• #43
Well in Brad!
-
• #44
Evans looked very comfortable. Bigger gear and mtb bike handling vs Wiggo's pusuiting style. Looks like Evans might have the power-to-weight edge in the mountains.
-
• #45
Good Rides by both Cadel and Wiggo , thought for a moment Cadel might steal it.
Good Result for Wiggo anyhow.
-
• #46
How long did you spend analysing that pic? :)
Not as long as you are insunuating.

Anybody else think Meyer, Bobridge, or Millar might do something spectacular today? [/thinking (not very far) outside the box]
Meyer was 99th, 43 seconds back but Bobridge was way down, 163rd, 58 seconds back. I thought they'd do better than that to be honest.
Sastre only lost 25 seconds. He's clearly in good shape.

Wiggins has something "under his bucket"... Spinal Tap do the Giro from Twisted Spoke

The perils of racing in Holland.
Bit long for them, I suppose. If it'd been a 5k event, I bet they would've been granted carte blanche to dig deep.
I'd quite like to see Millar win it, TBH; as an anti-Sky thing. I reckon he might get fired up enough, with the thought of that contract-breaking ex-teammate behind him.
