Evans is in the form of his life but I can't see him mounting a convincing enough attack in the mountains to swing it. Wiggins will lose out a bit to sastre on the hills but should pull some back in the TT's. Basso is a real unknown quantity at the moment, maybe he'll ride into form Ullrich style...any which way, it's going to be awesome!

I can see the conversation between the teams...
"You do the work."
"No, you do the work."
"Well, I'm not if you're not"
"Well I'm not if you're not!" -

Interesting late break going on. A few of those who lost out yesterday are having a go.
Scarponi
Voeckler
Basso
Nibali
Pinot
Tondo
Garzelli
Pozzato
Cunego
...VinoEvans chasing.

Haha, Evans having a punch up with Katusha and Lampre! They obviously don't want to help him chase the break down due to Pozzato and Cunego being in the break.

• #232
What was that all about?

• #233
That was brilliant. Cycle figthing!

Eveans wants to chase the breakaway, those in teams with men in the break are slowing the chase. Evans throws his fists.

• #235
Did they ride over his dog?

Hah!
Come on Voeckler!
Edit - Ah, almost... -

Pozzato gets it, just ahead of Voeckler. Opportunistic win that.

Greasy Sidi twat.

Is this sort of behavior tolerated? I mean sitting at the front blocking the peloton from chasing, not having a punch up. -

I thought it was a nice finish from Pozzato - Nibali should have jumped again when he was in Vino's wheel, before the group caught them up.
Glad Vino had nothing to give.

Well, it's hard to block the road on a bike, innit? And no, I don't think Cadel tolerated it!
I suppose that if a whole team or teams made a road block then there might be a problem.

Yeah that's the image I had when I read they were slowing the chase, whole team(s) at the front easing up. Obviously Evans shouldn't expect anyone other than his own team to work for him, and throwing punches is not very sporting.
Glad Vino had nothing to give.
Obviously hadn't had his "weetabix". -

scale? it's in the lovely world of metrics so my guess is 2273m climb over 12.85km

Well I'm sorry but that's a bit presumptious. Perhaps it's the scientist in me but you display the units you are using (and to be pedantic the climb is surely 1086m) not just a set of meaningless numbers.

Schleck did not look good in the ToC yesterday. Got dropped by the sprinter train on the climb at one stage!! :-S
did schleck have an injury in the early part of the season?

Yeah I see what you mean and agree, if you do diagrams you should put key etc on there but I don't think it's that necessary for an italian paper to do so, since they only have one system to cater for
I still think Evans or Basso will win. Next week is brutal and I can't see Wiggins or Sastre holding on. The rest of the beneficiaries of today's stage aren't GT winners.
