Now, that looked strange. I couldn't work out what was going on, as my live stream wasn't streaming properly. Probably oversubscribed in the closing minutes.

That's 3 stages out of the last 4 won by Aussies. Shame they lost the cricket.

20/20 = Glorified rounders.

Evans going for the sprint (wtf leave the points you nut) and Goss wins!
"Griepel.. Griepel.. oh no it's Matt Goss" hahaha and Farrar was Far away :P
-
• #183
Farrar had a perfect Evans+Cheato leadout and did nothing.. Goss made it look easy.

That's 3 stages out of the last 4 won by Aussies. And they won the Monaco GP.

Förster got fourth. I like him.

Who?
:)

He used to write a very funny column on Radsport-news.com. He's won a few stages here and there--two Giro, I think, one Vuelta, etc.

He's a man, not a boy.

You must've been about 10 in 1992 Sam!
I owe you a pint!

this mass sprint finish is shaping up nicely. and these italian commentators only add to the excitement

Well done Tyler. A good finnish. not the mass sprint but all from quite a way out.
Was there a crash back in the feild?
-
• #193
Tyler Farrar? Sprinter of Team Garmin?
-
• #194
those streets looked a bit too narrow for teams to get properly organised. but well done farrar. and nice one for julian dean taking third. mcewan and forsster just in behind.
it didn't really look like a crash but on a tight corner about 1.5 clicks out a few riders stopped in the centre of the bunch. puncture i think but a few riders got caught out and had to stop

Tyler Farrar? Sprinter of Team Garmin?
I'd like to see him try that on his hybrid.
-
• #196
yep, tyler farrar. on a Felt.
-
• #197
Tyler 'Farrarr' or Tyler 'Farrah'?
It's pronounced differently in the two adverts for the same cunting product.

262km in today's stage. According to the cyclingnews updates, a 56 man breakaway has formed with a lead of 17 minutes and 115km to go.
56 in a breakaway! How does that happen?

Wonder if any of the GC contenders are in it?
Edit - Nope. :D

None of the big names apart from Wiggins and Sastre who are well down on GC. I can't quite get how a quarter of the peleton forms a break.
Not *another *fuckin' Aussie!?
