I had to look it up. It seemed odd to use it on this forum. I want answers.

Well no doubt Mr Mastermind will be along to give them even when he's not been asked.

I wanted to know more about his use of the word,
I find that hard to believe. I suggest that you actually wanted to laud it over him with your erudition, over what you presumed to be a malapropism on his part.

Blu-Tack

Blu-tack is only good for single speed freewheels. For fixed, you need to use a good thick coating of PRANG glue stick.

You could get an alloy sprocket and then tig weld it onto the hub.
You'd need to be very careful, and even then I think it unlikely that you would avoid warping one or both parts.
You would have to really want to keep using that hub I think.

I don't know if thats a good idea, there are other options, such as drilling holes in the sprocket and then with heavy duty zip ties attach the sprocket onto the spokes also.
Oh please let me know if something bad happens.I'm sorry what? zip ties?

to the point where you value it more than your life i'd say. get a new hub and don't make yourself a hazard to other road users.

Impatient was what spell check gave me due to me being lazy as fuck latley. Ended up drilling out the threaded threads on the lockring side, the lockring then threaded on, gave it a coat of araldite just to be sure it stuck. Holding up good so far apparently.
Are we not overlooking the obvious? Surely epoxy resin adhesive would hold a sprocket to a hub pretty well. Just be thorough about degreasing and drying the mating surfaces and use Araldite Fusion to guarantee perfect mixology.
