I'm quite tempted to try to swim 1,500 metres at Brockwell Lido, then ride 40 and finally run 10.

How hard can it be?

Well the swimming is the hard part, cycling 40 metres and running 10 metres is pretty easy and can be completed by most adults in around 6 seconds.

Anyone still a regular swimmer at Brockwell Lido? I swim there quite a lot, was looking for someone to train with. When I say train, that probably overstates my ability in the water. My technique is slightly inept, but I generally do about 40 lengths in 40 mins, no wetsuit. Could do with someone to push with though.

^check the swimming thread. plenty of regulars. I'm there a couple of times a week doing wetsuit practice at th emoment after a long winter and spring lay off. I'll be there tonight.
