been waiting for the outcome of this. Farah obviously clean.... I mean, 'He has never failed a blood test'
-
• #8353
Oh, you horrid cynics. Our Mo has only ever benefited from training at altitude in Africa with similarly undrugged athletes. Clearly purely incidental that testing regimes happened to be a little more relaxed.

similarly undrugged athletes
Which ones? Half of Kenya's runners are currently banned.

When that's your domain, drug taking goes with the territory

Errr, that was more than a little tongue in cheek! Distance runners are about as credible as USPS cyclists in the Armstrong era (apart from the innocent ones, of course). Kindly re-read adding deeply sarcastic tone.
-
• #8357
haha well spotted :)
-
• #8358
Yes, I got that. I guess I was hammering the point home, at least in my own head.
-
• #8359
Thank the deities for that, I was worried that people might take me for an Express reader...
-
• #8360
I mean, I read the obvious sarcasm and then I still posted like I was arguing with you. That says more about my current fucked mental state than yours. #lessracingnextyear

• #8361
No worries, and I am sorry to be rude about the Express, it is quite absorbent and the print doesn't come off too much.

Was this kid coached by Salazar? We deserve to know.

Question everything.

If 48mins wins it, I might give it a shot.
-
• #8365
Can't help feeling the reaction (or lack of) to Salazar by athletics, and the defence by Nike says a lot more about the credibility of the sport than the blood tests
-
• #8366
Anyone got a link to the report?

• #8367
Just look at cycling news twitter feed right now !

They appear to be listing all the wrong doings associated with his tried and tested formulas.
Eg
Salazar told Lathe L-carnitine infusions. "All completely legal and natural." even though the amounts he was suggesting were 20 times what is allowed. No evidence Armstrong took him up on his suggestion.

• #8370
Ah ok. Can you link the account. Can’t find it sorry!

Thanks!

Amazing the glee with which the media went after Wiggins after the TUE and jiggy bag guff, but I can't see the same questions being asked of Farah with the same intensity. Farah went from mediocrity to being the best of the world while being coached by someone who has just been banned for 4 years. I know which I think is more incriminating.

Doping only happens in cycling though, every commoner knows that...
But there are no accusations around Mo Farah, the radio keeps repeating like a mantra.
