  • I might come, anyone else ?

  • Keen.

  • Just turned up. Have people been and gone?

  • Sorry guys, overslept :(

I see more speed lurking, doing well?

  • Anyone in for tonight - Tue 21 Jan at Newington? If so, what time?

  • Weather looks good so there should be games.

  • I put this sweet polo bike together at work from some spares- 700c on a 26" Giant frame with carbon forks. Disc tabs front and rear if you want to upgrade (would need new wheels), light, runs smooth. 32x23 gearing, new grips, metal barends etc. Great starter bike... Looking for £120 ONO

    Collection in Highbury
    bump!

  • Hi, is there ever any polo going on anywhere vaguely nearish to where I live (Richmond, TW9) or work (Hammersmith, W6)? I have only played about 5 times, and don't have a polo bike, so somewhere where n00bs are welcome and it might be possible to beg or borrow a bike would be good. Any recommendations? Ta!

  • There are sometimes sessions at westway.

There's enough westies that if you found a good court and suggested a day you'd get people.

  • If not there's beginners at newington gardens on Tuesdays and there's always a bike to borrow. Keep an eye on here to see if there are numbers

  • oh, i miss polo......... i need my arm to fix.

  • I am not going to make it this weekend. It's Chinese New Year tomorrow, so I am taking a day off polo to do the cultural stuff.

That said, weather is looking lush. So get a list going guys!

Ana? Io? Simon? Paul? Jamie? Jackie? Miles? Gregory? Beth? Ben? Charlie (take the Overground perhaps)?

Even if you guys can't get 6, there's plenty of drills you guys could do. BB (bloody highly recommended!!!)? 1 goalie, defender and attacker (can't remember what this is called!). 2 v. 2?

  • I could be convinced to jump on the overground if there are 6, but will pass on the drills (sorry Ben, if I wanted to do drills I would have joined the army ;) )
