The most important thing is getting enough people who will play so you can play regularly... If you can get the people the rest will follow.

Where abouts is your town?

Yeah the thing is in southend which is where I live there is only 5 fixie riders but we are all pretty tight so we make do but as we have had to teach ourselves and each other everything we know about fixies its tricky to get started but we all really want to start polo

You never know, you might find someone who lives close enough to Southend for them to be interested in coming.

How far away is Chelmsford? I think there were some people there trying to start polo a little while ago. If you can find a patch of concrete halfway between, you'll probably get enough for regular games.

Stu F was playing polo in Essex, too.

Out of interest, what sort of courts do you have in Southend?

Oh theirs loads parks with old tennis court and stuff like that

Hi guys still new to this website group but watched a video about bike polo and really want to get into anyone got any tips on where to get start got a little group of friends in my town that all are interested to so any advice would be welcome thanks.

We usually play most weekends from about noon at Hackney Downs if it is not raining. You can get the train into Stratford then switch to the Overground which will take you to Hackney Central and the court is 5 minutes ride from the station.

There's a loaner bike at LMNH which you can use if you lock up your bike at the station.
