As I said I'm trying to get this Tuesday session going we were talking about after Sat morning. Interested were Naomi/Io/Fran, there's Pootsmanuva asking for it, and Rick and Victor and me, all for one more 'training session' ;) for the West tourney. I hope you all can make it (and whoever else of course), so:

• We could actually play this at Newington (off Borough High St) instead of Peckham (Peckham Multiplex car park, for NE people by Overground?) - closer for most of us? Maybe add to your name what you prefer?

Question for people who know (Kev?)
Is Newt available at all for a Tue night session? Otherwise we don't have to consider this at all. To get another loaner for Tue might also be a challenge, any ideas?

the problem for me are my working hours. under the week it's quite impossible for me to play..:/ I have to work until 7pm, could leave at 7:30pm.
mmh, but i think one training-session would be good.I'd prefer Newington. Which tube station would i have to take there? And does anybody know if there's a connection between Alexandra Palace Overground and Newington or something?

(also Fuchsia and I are up for gearing some bikes up for polo practice. Any advice on where to find small (cheap) cranksets? /chainrings? preferrable fitting 1/8th set up and square bb axle (cos i already have those)....if we can do that with just changing the chainset then we can help with extra bikes :-) (yes we are keen)

And woo hoo for more new girls! Looking forward to meeting you (although i'm sure I've met ziska before) if you are after bits just put a post in the polo bikes bits thread. Loads of people have bits lying around and I got bits for my bike pronto : )

@ naomi. If you can get to wests on Wednesday it goes on till 10. You say you live in Highgate? I ride back to golders green from wests so can ride back most of the way with you if its helpful. You lot should just go to Wests for your session. It's next to Latimer rd tube and its 5 mins bike ride from kensal rise overground. Plenty of loaner bikes and mallets available

Newt is actually less busy on Tuesday than it is on Monday and Wednesday's.

I've got a friend of mine that wants to come to beginners as long as its at newt. I'll see if he's available this Tuesday.

We'll definitely still be there by 8/8.30 - could play until 10:30 when they turn off the lights theoretically. And punkture was talking about Wednesdays' West beginners sessions - also a very good option. See the West beginners thread!
Tue, South is just on additionally this time (if enough people interested) as another session and closer for all the east people, poots from the south etc.
Oh yes, E&C or Borough stations are good for Newt.

Newington is fine on a Tuesday. Lights stay on until 10:30pm.

Also, Wednesdays at Westway are good for beginners. Loaner bikes and mallets permanently there. You dont need a list for that, you just show up - there are always people there every Wednesday who are not on LFGSS.

I'll be down tomorrow (sorry kev, means another week I won't be at westway), not sure about my friend, but might have a hastily constructed loaner bike.
