  • Any of the girls free to help? Fi's on holiday...

  • i have a friend in town otherwise i would of. sorry jess.

  • I'm pretty sure I've got nothing on Saturday morning.

What do I have to do?

Will other people be there to help?

  • Simply bring yourself, spare mallets if you have any and explain the game, do a few simple passing, shooting and positioning techniques and play some throw-ins!

  • It was awesome fun, I'll be along in a couple of weeks again, can't do this Saturday. (Balls are good too.)

  • What about loaner bikes? And no, I have no spare mallets.

  • Pk has the loaner which you or I could get before. I have 2 mallets you can borrow. Last weeks beginners took mallets home and I think we have 3 new people this week...

  • dont forget about the beginners tournament on Saturday the 15th. If you get some new blood at a session this saturday please encourage them to come along. There will be some complete beginner teams at it from RBKC so they shouldnt be intimidated. Cheers!

  • One of my housemate is interested in trying bike polo out and will bring him along this Saturday.

  • My mate Fucshia came down to Newt yesterday and loved it, she'll be getting involved shortly...

  • I'd love to come on a Saturday, went to watch the Open as I've been interested in polo for ages and know some people that play. Know very little though and only have a road(track)bike if it's ok to loan stuff to have a go?

  • Yeah, we should have a few spare mallets, and maybe a spare bike, otherwise you can borrow someone's.

  • Even if not, I'll come down anyway to say hi.

  • I wouldn't mind coming along, have a mallet but no bike (well not one that isn't shatterproof).

    Cool?

  • People often loan out their own bikes, I may have a loaner bike available again that someone can pick up/use (I won't be able to make it this week though).

  • That loaner we had up at Bethnal Green (mainly for London Fields) - I'd pick it up from wherever it is. I had it chained to the fence in front of my house for some time, but the council doesn't like it. Maybe someone else around here who can keep it? Who's got it and where is it? let's arrange a pickup!
@Tenderloin: you can also use mine, I'll be there Sat morning most likely.

  • Is that the one PK has at the moment? If you could pick it up, that would do me a big favour, I haven't got much time this week.

  • I don't know. Just tell me who PK is, and I can PM him (or her?).

  • Hehehe... ;)

  • My mate Fuchsia came down to Newt yesterday and loved it, she'll be getting involved shortly...

hello - I would like to have a go at playing some polo. Is there a beginners practice happening on Saturday? I don't have a mallet or the right sort of bike though..

  • London Fields multi use games area from 10am onwards. There will be loaner mallets and bikes.
