I'm bringing the free rear wheel tonight (I won't forget this time). Next week I'll also have a decent 700c front wheel going spare for cheap (£10 or so) if anyone wants it. Or it could be collected from my house if anyone needs it quick.

Has anyone got some spare 26" wheels that they don't need? Mine are pretty screwed, and if I can find some clamp on v brake mounts I'll be running 26" on ma new bike.

Anybody in for an early start? Thinking about half 6 (that is if it doesn't start pissing down), need to go home quite early this evening to prep for tomorrow's work.

I'll be there around about 6.30 just because that's when I get there if I leave work on time at 5:30.

Bit late, but if someone has a spare mallet I could use, that would be dandy.

I now have 2 spare mallets, will be bringning them. Leaving nowish.

Bad News. The lever I got off puiyin still doesn't fit, even smaller clamp size than the other one. Thinking of getting some new flat bars instead, these ones are just annoying me.

What size bars you have? Coz I tried the lever on the bars (25.4mm) on my pomp and they fit. Are you bars 26mm or are they by any chance really old cinelli in which case they might be the annoying 26.2mm. Now I feel bad the lever doesn't fit... :-(

PS. I am gonna change my forum name to my actual name. Makes more sense... (I think it can be done??)

The clamp of the bars is 25.4, but the actual bar where the lever goes is 23.2 or something, whereas the inner clamp of the lever is just 21.9mm.

What?? your bars sound magical, so as the lever. I'd be happy to take it back if they are of no use to you. How could it fit my 25.4 bars then? Maybe it happened in my dream?? I feel responsible now.
