I really enjoyed the racing last night. Good work, Jason, it's been a great programme.

Are there points for the fancy dress competition?
When are the final results out?

It's even harder, they have to ride upside down too. Really hard to stay on the track.

Nice one Tom - I've stuck it on the HH site.
I dunno why, I just find it easier going to the left - I'll practice for next year.
Dates, and events for the league will be up in the next week or two, too.

thats why i want to do more rcing proper... with a number on my back an' all.need to sort out my BC license first though.

Yep - Monday nights is the stepping stone to Wednesday racing. If you were fine on Monday - you'll be fine on the Wednesdays. There's going to be a couple of minor changes to the format to reflect this more in 2011.
Full 2011 Training and Racing programme out soon.

You'll be fine, Rob. You're easily quick enough to race with the Bs from what I've seen.
-
• #942
Btw Rob, not sure if you're already a BC member but if you use the following code: skyride2 you should get discounted membership. This only works for new members though.

Ha, good video. That was the best race of the year. I missed out on 6th place points by about 2 seconds! I was gutted.
Disappointed by MikeC's performance, cant have been more than 5 seconds. -

I met a friend of yours Rob at Newport just before Christmas. Shame you couldn't make it, it was a very good weekend. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed himself too

skyride2 doesn't work anymore, but apparently 'club4' does.

I think if you are a member of a club and have never joined BC you get bronze membership free and then you just have to pay the difference to either silver or gold. It did it automatically for me last year I'm pretty sure

Thanks Andy.
At the end of last season, i was managing to place mid group with the A's in most Monday night training races.... but I'm sure the A's & B's in the leaugue are a fair bit faster than the Monday night equivilents.
I refuse to take part in points races though...I met a friend of yours Rob at Newport just before Christmas. Shame you couldn't make it, it was a very good weekend. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed himself too
Yep, that would be Adam. He lives over in Bristol. He mentioned you... I lent him a Rolla jersey... thought it might be a conversation starter. I've been trying to get him out onto the track for a while, he said he had a wale of a time.
Was gutted i couldnt make that weekend. I really want to get some track time indoors. Has Lee got any other sessions coming up?

thanks for the BC info too. I will look into it at the weekend.
I think i get a discount for being a Rolla/Grupetto member anyway? -

Pfft. Don't start that before you've even got to the start line! You should check with Jason but last year I don't think you needed a race licence for track league, it's classified as a go race. You'll no get any licence points for it so unless you want to ride other events - eg omniums - then maybe save your cash.

I stopped doing points races and it was a good decision because I could focus on the events I had a chance of making the top 5 in
It also shows the difference between the As and the Bs.
I took part in the first couple of B points races and won one and came second in the other. I stepped up to the As and was unable to complete the races
Does anyone have an email for Iain, The iain on the chrome Bianchi who damaged his wheel last night , he might be interested in a cheap pair of wheels...
