must be a Magpie brain, as they allegedly pick up shiny things
Now the French Onion man who unsurprisingly rode around selling onions in Newcastle wore a beret- good traditional head gear, and unlikely to get blown off in the wind. No stickers, no tags, just practical- he did speak funny, but then he was French, he did know how to take money though.

We used to have an onion seller in Pimlico when I was a kid, he was awesome... Breton shirt, beret, bike, strings of onions and garlic... Fantastic...

You are not from the continent, I presume. Berets fly like fuck.

I've got nothing against these hats, wear what you want, it's the trend to leave stickers and tags on things. I swear I saw some guy wearing a very similar cap, with the sticker on it and a TK Maxx(crowe) tag hanging off the back.
WTF?
i have seen people wearing sunglasses with a UV400a/b cert sticker still on the lens, right in the middle too, but hey if it makes you feel special and more well off than other spectacle wearers and makes me wet myself with mirth then it''s all good.

yep seen that one too- I think wtf, can't they see that well or what?
My view of a trend in cycling started with the Flite saddles that had the dangly seal thing on yellow string hanging down with the new saddle on the bike- I'm thinking ooh they need to take that off, but no, it was an allleged status symbol at the time

any what's with "the new era" have I missed something here? As today seems like yesterday, seems like all the days before with slight variations up and down in weather, and soma bastrad coming along to stir up sh*t as ever.
So when exactly did the new era start, and what was significant about it- eg were we taken over by the Romans (again) or aliens, or what? Maybe it happened when I was asleep....
I do feel without this really useful knowledge my street cred is in minus figures.
Or have have I got it completely wrong- I do remember a racing car and have seen one called the ERA, maybe someone's resurrected the Co ie maybe Chinese or Indian and re-floated it?

it also indicates they will talk absolute jibberish at you
jafaican twats
When I was enquired by a couple of them a while ago on TCR, I almost though they were French people with a lisp trying to find out where is the British Museum is.
Little did I realise they came from Tooting and were asking me if I have matches to light their slightly illegal marijuana with.

Believe it or not, I briefly attempted to sell some NOS nappies via PM last week. No joy, so they're going on ebay. Our sprog threshold has also been reached.
