Thank you!
Just let me know the length and what width you’d like and I’ll make it on Friday. I’m waiting for a delivery of buckles. There’s been a bit of a rush!
I’ll message you about payment and delivery. -

No rush. I don’t get paid until the end of the month.

On first reading I thought he was saying that the dogs were to be put down!

Anyone got a fleece outfit for their dog, Inc legs.
Need something to stop the terror getting covered in burs and wet every day.

Equafleece is the way to go, I have jackets for both spaniels (without legs, the jackets not the spaniels). Dries them really quickly and available in a multitude of sizes.

I'd love a jazzy fleece for the dog, but he refuses to walk in a jacket/ jumper.
Took many weeks for him to come to terms with the harness.
If I tried a onesie it would be summer before he came round to it and then it would be moot. -

Perfect thanls. That's what I'd seen in the past but couldn't remember.
I dont need it to try him, but more to stop buurs and stuff on him. It takes be about 2h a week to keep him brushed.
It might not work, but worth a try.

equafleece seem to have random stock, I think they may the sizes in batches or something. But I haven't been able to find any good knock offs so I've forever got the tab open waiting for my size to come up.

Interesting. My dog loves a jumper or a coat, no worries.
I tried putting some doggy elf socks on him a couple of Christmas’s ago. He was sooo aggy

They’re solid but shouldn’t be that wide - they do have a tendency to get fat, so you need to watch the feed. Temperament is more German Shepherd than Collie, so they’re a bit wary of strangers and not that friendly with other dogs. I love ours, he’s the best.

Spare a thought for us, who will be attempting to convince a dog to wear shoes and sunglasses this winter. Hoping that Otto taking to jumpers and onesies quite easily means he'll shrug off our latests attempts to demean him.
Did I say sunglasses? I meant to say doggles.

This fella was definitely more squat. Lovely looking dogs though I'd say.

I will be sure to post some.
Otto exceeded all of our expectations this summer. We took him to the Alps assuming that a whippet wouldn't really adapt to mountain sports that well.
His limits were fairly meagre in the first few weeks but his fitness improved incredibly quickly after that. He went from a dog who would need a big sleep after a 6 mile flat walk to a dog who can chase marmots on a 15 mile walk with 1500m of up and 1500m of down across boulder fields.
Ice and snow on th glaciers no problem...all he needs is a jumper. Obviously winter will be a different deal which is why shoes and doggles are in order.
Dogs really are incredibly adaptable creatures. He's rippling with muscle compared to how he was...we've created a monster!

By just being fine with exposure and scrambling?
I did a lot of glacier travel and climbing with a mountain rescue dog this summer...a masterclass in agility.

They do seem to come in all sorts of shapes and sizes....probably a good thing.

He lead the way, found the path. We were dithering around taking our time and he was running rings around us. He's half pyrenees sheep dog and clearly in his element. Was amazing to watch.
I wanted to take him to Aneto with me, but he still wont go in a bike trailer so we will work on that and he looses out.

I guess they're just not taking any risks at all. But yes, would tend to agree.
