you're right.
i heard that rumour back in school (though the article says 2000, i'm sure it was earlier than that. their careers would have been over by then) in long eaton (derbyshire). someone clearly was saying something.wrong. -

1991 apparently, though TBH I thought it was when they were both at City that it happened.....

good ride...what joe smiff said.
some nice rolly sections too despite the traffic. That section just up there^ before leyton orient was wicked...catching the joe smith draft train - highly recommended.
well done to picture takers/documentary makers etc. I didn't get burnt? sorry.
I was wearing...pfft. A shirt I'll never wear again? urggh...cheap shirt. Made of cycle superhighways (bright blue, cheap, nasty to ride in, not fit for purpose, etc, etc...)

@sharkstar: I saw the dedication (?) required to take this one, so everyone will now look at it. It was hot. Think about it.

This was easy a classic; thanks John for the jersey (it kept me surprisingly cool), Jack for the sandwich and Graham for putting this together. Best bit of riding the last mile or so towards White Heart Lane and the loop around the ground. Nice to meet so many new faces, was a wonderful Sunday.

busy week at work/life means i have only just got around to this.
but have to say that was a brilliant ride on sunday. looks like we have that route dialled in nicely G and was really happy to help where i could.
cheers for putting together a good ride, and really one of the few that takes in all corners of the capital. really enjoyed the banter and got to meet some new faces. and personally really enjoyed seeing murtle, shoots, cliveo and diapo out there. a few faces from last year were missed.
good work graham. looking forward to seeing what you throw together for the Kite Ride.
catch ya soon fella.
oh, and great pics. summed up a perfect day on the bike in the big smoke beautifully.
