If we stop in Hackney wont all our bikes get stolen?
-
• #328
can we swing past the albion pub in hackney for a pint? bit of an annoying suggestion G considering i've only just signed up to this ride but i'm sure you'll all find it most enjoyable. it's a proper football pub dedicated to all football clubs around the world.
I don't know it or the area but if it's on route(ish) I don't mind....

pretty much between leyton and tottenham ....sort of....
-
• #330
it's not really on the route tim. and tbh last year there wasn't really time for a quick pint (we nearly had one at the birkbeck in leyton) as we are all keen on getting to the final destination for the Tour

Tour!

Ha!

West Brom pub in Bethnal Green. How does that happen?
And "pretty much between leyton and tottenham" is a bit of a stretch.
-
• #334
just an idea....i'm happy though...no fucking wolves fans on yet! do you reckon any of them have found their thumbs yet?

G, it's the pub that marcus took a photo of me in. well worth a visit some time dude, but probably not on this ride.

Which is where we almost got lost last year.
-
• #337
Getting led by a couple of Yids that didn't know how to get to WHL! Pfffff.......
-
• #338
To be fair, Tottenham supporters normally approach WHL from Hertfordshire and not Orient.
-
• #339
i can get you to seven sisters from leyton but from there someone else will have to take over.
-
• #340
WHL to The Emirates is easy....
I get lost from the Woolwich Ferry to Upton Park
-
• #341
I can do Seven Sisters to WHL. Walked in from the tube enough times. Run back a few times too with missiles whizzing past my ears as angry spuds fans celebrated another three points to Chelsea....
-
• #342
i think i can do woolwich ferry to legoland too G...all the benefits of working for years in newham
-
• #343
between dicki and me we had that whole east london matrix sorted. but you might know some even better routes dude
-
• #344
are there plans to go "through" woolwich?
-
• #345
Not as such. Millwall to Charlton takes us through Greenwich, then from there's it's a short trip to the ferry port at Woolwich, over the river to bandit territory and West Ham
-
• #346
the ferry port at Woolwich
Tramp-beer stop.
-
• #347
brentford?
-
• #348
Murt, the extremities of the compass would almost double the length of the ride. Brentford, Palace, Daggenham and Barnet would turn it into something around 80 miles which would be fine under normal circumstances but probably too far for a cohesive social ride, particularly one with numerous stops for photos at grounds and Corny's meal breaks.
-
• #349
i was joking clive
it'll be double for me, i live 5mins away -

Unfortunately no pitch-side action at Arsenal.....
"I'm afraid that it will not be possible to gain access to Emirates Stadium, nor to walk on to the pitch but you would of course be most welcome to take photographs of yourselves with the Stadium in the background.
I’m sorry we could not be of more assistance on this occasion but we wish you the best of luck with the event.
Kind regards,
