Cheers Jonny.

Additionally we will need some short mallets so could anyone with old short/snapped ski poles please get in contact with wither Rik or myself so that we can arrange collection.
I would have sugggested borrowing Emmet's, but unless the session's for four year olds, they'd probably have outgrown 'em...

What rail strike? This could seriously hamper plans.
Route affected All routes on the National Rail network DescriptionSome Network Rail staff belonging to the RMT and TSSA unions have announced that they plan to take industrial action between 06:00 and 10:00, and between 18:00 and 22:00 each day from Tuesday 6 April to Friday 9 April. Rail travel during the Easter weekend will not be affected.
Negotiations are ongoing to resolve this dispute and avoid any industrial action; however if it does go ahead there is likely to be some significant disruption to train services.
Train companies are working closely with Network Rail to ensure that they can run as many trains as possible. Information on the services that train companies expect to be able to run will be shown on this page as they become available but we do not expect to be able to provide timetables for all routes before Thursday 1 April.
More information is available from http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/dispute
Leave after 10, come back before 6, and you may be okay. Although the trains are likely to be rammed and you may get grief for having bikes?
I'll try to come along and help, but I'm trying to catch up on my work after two weeks of doing fuck all.

For the sake of clarity - is the list up there just a list of people who are CRB checked or people who are helping out at this specific event?
-
• #39
People who are CRB checked.
Thus far the people who have said they can attend are:
1.Rik
2.AufbruchIn the mean time I am going to arrange to meet, Bill for a broken ski pole and Jonny & Gormley to get mallets.
-

Yeah. Sorry for causing confusionness. That list is of CRB cleared polo players. Probably not the ideal place for it...
See list of actual people atttending above

-
• #48
Rik, Will bring spare mallet tonight at Souths if you need it.
-
• #49
Rik - if they are willing to cover rail expenses and there's enough peeps going would it be cheaper to hire a van and avoid the rail strike shenanigans?
I'm waiting to see what the work bookings are but if nothing comes in for next week I'll happily pop down [I'll know by end of play tomorrow]
