I should add, the reason I'm appealing for help is because I cannot take the date in question off work.
-
• #3
Did you find out anything else about the event? How old are the kids? Is it just polo, or part of a wider day of promoting cycling?
-
• #4
It's part of a wider day, Bike polo is just one thing they want to feature.
I'm going to call the guy at 13.00 and will hand over Rik's contact details whilst getting as much information as possible.

Maybe Thursday?

Wait. Its polo. It can only be a poll or a list.

I raised this in the Association meeting yesterday but it was swiftly pushed aside. As such this will be a non-affiliated event. This is an exercise in providing polo to people outside of London because they've asked for our help.
Here's the gist;
I've been contacted by a cycling instructor in Tonbridge who wants to run a polo taster day for some local kids. This is a Council approved and sponsored event.
Rik, will be heading the operation but he's going to need a couple of people who are able to travel to Tonbridge (Kent) on Tuesday 06/04/10. The organisers are prepared to pay for the travel and lunch costs of around 3-4 people.
Additionally we will need some short mallets so could anyone with old short/snapped ski poles please get in contact with wither Rik or myself so that we can arrange collection.
Any help that you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
