  • Read the bike snob review ... it is pretty much going to die after a few months of moderate use.

  • "this feels kinda.....its obviously not....like this is super unsmooth right here its totally chunky"
    *"what does that mean?"
*"well its just not, like, like if i push this back it just stops, like its not like, you know, whatever".

    enlightening. chain too tight perhaps?

his cap and his 'king of the remote' cushion right there means he's allowed to hate on people who ride fancy coloured bikes and has the official word on whats cool. yep

  • ^+flip-flops.

  • there's just like a chain on the wheel...

    3 speed handlebars....

  • Bike seems pretty great to me, especially for $149.

  • I can't stand it when people speak in this halting way, putting in pauses for 'effect' and lots of pointless delaying words like 'like'. It makes everything someone says take such ages and never, ever improves it.

  • YouTube- A Short History of the Fixie

YouTube- The New Walmart Fixed Gear Bicycle

    what a pro.

Is this the trailer for the American equivalent of Nathan Barley?

  • ^best one yet.

That bike is probably the cheapest way to get 48 spoke wheels there is.

  • Good beater, I'd buy one if Asda were knocking them out for less than 100 quid!

  • Watching those videos with the guy in the baseball hat make me cringe and embarrassed to ride a fixed gear bike.

48 spoke wheels would be good for polo.

  • Would also make a good entry level polo bike with a few tweaks.

  • Those videos are hilarious.

me too, but I'd put some bearings on those hubs first.

Really?!? 48 spoke wheels? Total polo bike bargaindom...

    what a pro.

Dylan Haley, graphic designer, cat, tattoos.
    That's all I'm saying.

  • I've sent him an invite to join. He'll fit right in :)

  • Vv = dtm ;p

  • v brakes really complicated?

i don't buy all this "oh...bike maintenance is so difficult...maaaaaaan...how am i going to ride bike?...ohhhhh...oooooo...thank god for fixie's, now i've removed 10% of what needs servicing"

also, yosi seems unhappy at work. clippity tappity tap tap.

  • 'most of the parts on this are not like real bike parts.'

  • Ive just rewatched those videos. Its gotta be a parody, doesn't it?

  • capitalism wants you to have gears

  • Reminds me of a few discussions in the misc section.

  • I'm getting rid of my bike, so that there's absolutely nothing to go wrong with it.

  • I see some funky spoks in the second vid at around 1:30 behind the 100 geared bike
