It's nice to know that the temporary worker on minimum wages tax helps people in comfortable offices with decent salaries get half-price bikes.
The two thousand, five hundred pound bikes they'll 'ride-to-work'.

Hah, yeah. Good to see people cycling but really, £500 would be more than enough for a daily hack.

But I'd get this (not exactly high end wheels though). Brilliant frame, and 11 speed camag, so if you want to pimp it up to record. You can do so bit by bit.
Well I recon I might go for the Veloce version of this. Change the cranks and wheels at some point.
The athena 11 group with the alloy cranks is almost the same weight at the veloce 10.

Unlikely I know.
I am ordering a nice new bike with cycle to work and want to tag a pair of EC90 carbon track bars onto the order
But they are special order only, so they won't let me do it.
Can anyone help?

Anyone know if Evans or any other shop can do sneaky things and only order groupset and wheels on the cycle to work scheme? I don't need another frame....

Probably should be moved to private to be fair to those names above.

I can't see the how that would work.

Some shops will allow you to just order parts and put it through the till as "custom bike" etc. This saves me the 40% ish of the cycle scheme when upgrading my road bike.
The only shop i can find online which will let me is Planet X but they only do the Dura Ace groupset and that is a little bit over the top for what i need.

I would help you out, but seeing as I'm still new it probably wouldn't be a good idea.
We have loads of Evans staff on the forum, good luck.
