I bet Crampton's gutted he didn't make the final - he finished faster than Hoy, and looked far less ragged. He'll fucking destroy the field in 2012. There. I've said it.

The British team pursuit squad have just posted a time of 3:56.869 in qualifying. They are easily the fastest so far with the Danes, the Kiwis and Team Skippy still to ride.
-
• #133
The Kiwis do a 3:58.616.
Will the top four all go under 4 minutes?
-
• #134
Team Skippy post a 3:58.185 to go second fastest.

• #135
Is this live anywhere?

• #136
I don't think so.

It's a qualifying session so is only of interest to nerds like me who love the team pursuit.

The Danes have lost a man before the 3 km mark. Looks like a GB vs Aussies final.

4:02.259 for the Danes.

• #140
Did he take a wrong turn? They really should signpost the corse better.

Try not to become even more unbearable following the final :-)

Paging Geraint Thomas…

That was an astonishing ride by the Aussies. They were on the ragged edge for most of it but never wavered, even though it looked like they'd blown it with 500 metres to go. Fair fucks to the Brits too, a young squad who rode two fantastic times and can hold their heads high.

"Jill Douglas introduces action from the third day of the Track Cycling World Championships in Denmark, where three finals are scheduled to be contested.
Lizzie Armitstead finished second in the women's scratch race in 2009, and will be hoping for an upgrade this time around.
The men's 1km time trial and team pursuit competitions will also be taking place, with Germany's Gregory Bauge and hosts Denmark the respective defending world champions."BBC TV guide fail.

Oh man, what a ride of Teun Mulder !!!
He should have waited till next year. Statistically, there just a small chance that he will repeat this then. -

It was a nice day at the track yesterday..
A nice win by our Alex Rasmussen in the scratch, and Mr. Hoy did really well in the sprints.I think you english types need to get Victoria to train some more instead of posing for men's magazines though... She's just too god damn slow..
