Somebody pretty much covered the windows / entrance of a chemist's shop in Berlin with red paint.
This happened around International Women's Day 2013, has happened before, and continiues to happen.
Apparently some people feel pretty patronised by the owner of the shop - a devout othodox christian, who cannot reconcile his beliefs with selling birth control measures like ECPs ("mornig-after-pills").
So basically their point is: as you're a chemist's, you have to sell us the pills we want, or else we fuck your shop up on a regular basis. -

They could also take their business elsewhere, but each to their own...

He's a Catholic according to the story I've just linked to.

I love this pic. I'm a journalist tho, so probably the news angle on it is swaying me. But it's great.

Picked up the 35mm 1.4 today off h2o, already prefer it by far

A £1,400 lens is going to monster a £140 lens really, isn't it. Apart from in the portability stakes, of course.

Buying an X-E2 but unsure whether to get it with the 18-55mm or body only and source a lens or two separately. Im trying to weigh up between lens size/zoom capability/image quality etc. I get the impression that the 27mm and 35mm both seem pretty well rated. Ive been trying to get my head around equivalent focal lengths.. Any thoughts?

The 18-55 is utterly great. It gets mistaken as a "kit lens" because of canikon equivalents but its much more than that.
Pair that with the 27mm pancake and you have something for any occasion...

Interesting article in the Guardian about Jimmy Nelsons's "Before They Pass Away" book and project. Beautiful images but he definitely isn't "documenting" anything as he claims as far as I can see it looks like he's exploiting the indigenous people.
What happened there?
