I thought the same, in my last tour, I end up using my mobile phone more than my compact, mainly because I like to edit them on the spot, or later in a camp site.

I think next time, I'll just bring my phone instead.

Just the standard iPhone one, which frankly is the only one I can quickly access to when locked.

For editing - VSCO, the tools a little so-so, but their filter selection make light work of getting the right tones to the photos (like the Ryanair one).

Yeah the quick access for the default one is great, but when I have the luxury of time I would mind a bit more control. For example, cracking sunset the other night, would it give me a decent exposure and colour temp? Would it bunnies.

Yup, the new forum basically go to the pages where you left off, rather than go to the pages of the latest post.

Not quite what I mean Ed - I'm just misreading the page, thinking it's the last one when it's not. What I'd like is to just highlight the current page number without the 'page _ of' stuff.

The AF speed and stupidly low noise at iso 10k might be missed... I dunno. 90% of the time my X100 does the job but shooting low-light events with it will be impossible.
Also, the depth of field with a 35mm is nice.
