  • ^ NCIX, the Canadian one.
^^^ Here's hoping! It was recommended to me by two owners of camera shops, one of which owned an X20 and the other had an X10.

  • Had a walk around barbican/london wall area yesterday,
I like the transition from very old up front to very new behind, and the lone person presumably learning about it

  • ^ really like how you've framed that and the aspect ratio. Processing is nice too.

Got a shit load of photos from Sweden which should keep me busy for a while when we get back. As well as all the liquorice and snus. Must remember to buy bog roll.

    +1

  • Quick one from the grand depart this morning
Like a tit i left my shutter on one shot instead of high speed
Got a few stars in the pic though!

Thanks fella, that aspect ratio was something I was unsure about but I opted to crop a decent portion of the left side out in the end as felt it didn't add much to the picture.

  • nice

  • Really liking the second one, there's just something I love about lines.

  • They're straight?

  • yay for perspective correction

  • I'm not sure I corrected that one actually, I was almost exactly straight onto it with a 300mm lens.

  • Got the impression as one can see the jambs of the door and the side of the box-thing..

  • They're straight?

Definitely but I meant more generally, I love photographs with good lines.

For example I really like this

    by Siegfried Hansen.

  • nice

  • I've been shooting a little with the x-pro1, definitely means you have to work in a different style due to its speed limitations, no more spray and pray for me. Its still possible to shoot sports well though, I was surprised to see on Andy Waterman's blog that he shoots with an X-pro1, He has some amazing work:

  • Anyway here are some images, the JPGs are nice its true, but I still prefer to tweak the RAW files

Just noticed that those look like a little panorama

  • Lovely; so are you keeping it?

  • I think so, i'll need some more batteries and the fuji 35mm f1.4 though.

My G9, in comparison, struggles so much in poor light, still get nice stuff out of it though

  • What nikon gear will you be getting rid; I may have someone interested ..

  • Great shots, spotter.

    More swedish stuff.

  • @spotter - Thanks to an insurance screw up I have a Fuji 35mm going spare - shout if you're interested.

I'll hold fast with the sale just for the moment, I may have a friend who wants to take it off me. I'll let you know before I make a sale thread

I'll send you a PM shortly

Well is it - your question got edited away I think, but compared to Nikon RAW's I barely have to touch them to get what I want, just some tweaks to the highlights etc
