Isn'r fringing more of a lens problem than a PP problem?
Yeah, usually appears with wide apertures. It can be killed by simply ticking a box in light room though.
It is a lens problem but can be massively exacerbated by certain post-p techniques.

Does anyone here know if you can reduce the quality of an image using lightroom 5? I've got the CS suite of a different computer but am uploading all my photos onto this current one which only has lightroom and was wondering if i could do it here without having to move my photos between the two computers. cheers

It's an export option as far as I'm aware. So you'd select the photos in your lightroom catalogue, right click and export. On the export window there are various options, including resizing/resampling.

Yes, but I think you mean "resolution"...

Thanks, Mike.
Haven't had the time to properly go through the other ones, but I guess this one will be best. This was actually the only dry period after a day of hiking, so didn't take out my camera quite as much as I would've wanted.
I'll post some when I get to it. :)

Hey all
I recently got a 7D. Love it so far (17-85 IS lens). A quick question, does anyone know if you can get a focus beep in AI-Servo mode? I suspect the answer will be a quick no. But surely worth a punt -
• #4335
Nope. It would basically be one continuous beep if it could.

There's a firmware hack for the 7D that allows you to set C.Fn IV to make the shutter button beep continiously while half-depressed,
and then make this "step on a frog" sound while taking the picture; let me search that link.. -

A pic snapped of my mug, dont like the way I look but just thought the picture looked photographically pleasant, and surprising as it has zero processing, looked like this right out the camera.

...What is focus peaking?Awesome. I hope they also enable the latent face detection in the multi-focus mode for those times when you really just want to point and shoot.
