Were you in Polruan? I was there last summer.

Yeah spot on, my parents live in Polruan, so stopped off for a few days on my way to Newquay on a diving course. Weather was a bit naff which was a shame, really wanted to get up to Gribben head for some long exposures, but didn't quite make it over.

Your second shot looks like it's from the start of the hall walk around the estuary, lovely part of town. I've done a lot of kayaking up and down the river and into all the estuaries, loads to see. Again, would have liked to take the camera out to capture all the cormorants / king fishers that line the banks.

Love the Fistral beach shot.

Fun fact, that’s the hotel in the Witches film I think.

Is indeed I was living there at the time ...remember all us surfers trying to get extra work... no chance They were not liked much far as i remember.....not the surfers ...the Film people ..same in St ives when they filmed Blue Juice .....
