Brought a Canon 5D mk1 inkl 50mm 1.8 lens a few weeks a go, my first full frame experience and also my first DSLR since around 10 years.
It really renders the pictures nicely, this is basically straight from the camera. Only lifted the highlights slightly.

Grow up? Stop trolling? If you don’t want someone to challenge your anti-vaccination opinions you might want to do some growing up of your own.

But if you want to stick to the photos I find your photo of the sleeping homeless guy is exploitative, unless you woke him up to ask him if it was ok to take the shot, in which case you’re unpleasant for waking someone up for your own entertainment

Im most certainly not an anti vaxer............Just this one......and what, leave the homeless to rot..... ....not for my own satisfaction....My project for the last 10 years is people (but mainly homeless people of putney).....many of whom i know......I hope i can construct a usefull exibition/book with a 20/30 year history.......I tithe 10% of all moneys to putneys street people (they all know me.........Name a time and i will meet you by Putney mainline and you can

Well good for you on the project to document the situation for homeless people in your area, genuinely. Best of luck with the book, too.

I still find it troubling even if you did know the guy you were taking a photo of though. If I knew you and found out you'd taken a photo of me when I was sleeping and used it to part illustrate an antivaxxer opinion on a public forum I'd be livid. But if you're firmly part of that community and trust is established then it's probably not as exploitative as I initially found though. My problem with the photo is secondary however, I wouldn't have commented had you not started with the antivax conspiracy nonsense.

Your opinion is anti-vacination. So therefore you are an antivaxxer even if you don't identify as one. Being unprejudiced to all races apart from one still makes you a racist right? How can you tell people to avoid a vaccination that doesn't exist yet? It's the exact same dangerous disinformation that social media networks are eventually getting around to pulling down to prevent undue danger to the people reading those baseless, unfounded conspiracies.

I have contributed my photos to this thread, so by your spurious definition of a troll, I am not one. I've never suggested I'm anything other than the distinctly amateur photographer that I am but that doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on your dangerous antivaxxer statement. Me submitting my photos to you for a photo-off won't decide who is right in this either. I can be the worst photographer the world has ever known and that doesn't mean you can pull off your antivaxxer opinion without being challenged. If you said that in one of the racing threads I'd still pull you up on it and if I then suggested we meet for a race or compared power numbers to see who's right that would look pretty stupid right? Same goes here. Bottle has nothing to do with it.

And as lovely as a spot of lunch with you overlooking Putney mainline sounds I'm on the other side of the country so I'll pass thanks.
