So I got one of those events vouchers from my folks for Christmas. Used it for a days photography course with this place- http://www.westlandplacestudios.com/ . Not perhaps suitable for some of the experts on here, but I found it well worth going to- really interesting day with a bloke who knew his stuff.

Acquired a battered,loose &dusty 55mm f1.8 Petri lens as part of a pissed-late-night-ebay-job-lot.
Thought I may as well put it to use on an almost as ancient eos300d and am not displeased with the effect...
