Well there was a stand off between one bunch of dickheads and some other fools.....female with one of those expensive husky collar parkas started it.....embarrassing ...woof.

I've been finding this particularly difficult of late. I love taking pictures of people in public, but being young and tall doesn't make me the most inconspicuous, and I've been missing so many shots out of nervousness.

As much as I don't really care for Ming Thein's advice in the most part, his own thoughts on 'stealth' explain how he can get so close - "What possible threat could a small Asian man with a point and shoot pose? He’s probably just lost and on holiday."

I really like this!!

I know what you mean about nervousness. not sure how hypnotism works and I don't drink alcohol.

Pretending to be lost and on holiday could work for me.

I dont fully understand the rules ....to do with holding the pose ...vogue ing with tabs.

My mum appears to have the upper hand.....sweet we can eat tonight !

It depends what and how you like to shoot.
I'm very happy shooting a Pany GX80 with 20mm f1.7 pancake lens and would look for a similar prime on the sony setup like;
Sony E35mm f1.8 OSS
Sony 35mm f1.8 DT SAM (might not be compatible)
Sigma 30mm f2.8

That's terrific, really like the perceived "speed" of the thing.
