theres not too much to this one, it was from the zombie walk in Brighton a few years back, thats why theres all the traffic and people lined up on the other side of the road. I was kind of involved so have a lot of photos from it. this one below made it in to time out London as part of a day trip to Brighton supplement

Table top food photography - any tips? We're planning some for a client in January and will be hiring a photographer - hopefully a former forumite as it happens - but in the meantime we're doing a test this week in-house. Shooting tests of fast food. Any good resources for research on practicalities (lighting/backdrops/common issues etc).

Let the food go cold. Steam's a pain, esp. if you want top-down shots.
Photography styles can change a lot between restaurants (think in particular about the rustic fashion that is in now, against the very clean and simple look some more traditional places have). Find out what the client wants, and copy it. Cookbooks can really show the different techniques.

Tampon soaked in water, microwaved then tucked under the edge of the plate= steaming food in your photograph, on demand.

Been lurking here for a while! All of your wonderful work has inspired me to try a little at taking a decent photo! Any criticism welcome, good or bad!
These are my two favourites from today.

Sent my camera off for repair so no new photos, it has given me time to have a look through the archives though.
