M9 or M9-P = 2k ish
Summicron 35mm = £1,300 ishThe lens will hold it's value if you look after it.
Q = £3,300
... and I guess the Q will lose value akin to digital bodies.

Im assuming that's secondhand prices. I'd want new one (purely for warranty issues). The M9 has no autofocus which is an issue.

Apologies up front for the long self-indulgent post here. Last year a did a bike trip across the US and I took a load of photos and I've been mega lazy about going through them all and sorting them out. I finally managed to put them together in one place though and finished it at the weekend. These are the ones I want to keep, a lot of them are just there because I want keep a record of the trip, I should probably though do another smaller one of select favourites.
Also not sure if anyone else uses this website, but it's called exposure, and it's pretty nice just to put small sets together - pretty quick and easy to use, though you have to stick to their formatting so if you don't like the style it won't be for you.
Anyway, here's the link if you're interested:

Before that I went through Patagonia too, I've spammed you all with pictures of that before, but I've also now added to exposure. Anyway, they're here too if you want a look.

Just realised I can't copy image address from these sites to post any here..but one from the US trip..

Getting back into photography after a long break. I think over the past couple of years, I had just lost motivation to take photographs beyond the tourist and family snaps. But, after going to a photography exhibition recently I got the urge to start shooting again and here are some of my first shots since then. Comments welcome on what I can do to make them better, particularly in post-processing as it's not my strong suit

Also looked through the second set now - very nice, think I like it even better than the US one.
That site (exposure) is nice as well.
You can get the image adress of the photo if you click on it (enter 'viewer mode'), then right-click > view background image. -
