Hi folks, I've had a request for a big print, I've done it as big as 75x50cm and it's been ok but they are looking for around 1m on the long edge... I can process in Lightroom and potatoshop but I'd love some tips.

Beautiful, I visited Italy a couple of years ago and we stayed in Portovenere, La spezia. Peace and quiet..

Photoshop > image size > tick the box that says "resample" and select "Bicubic sharper (preserve details)" > enter 100cm on the long edge and voila.
You'll get some artefacts depending on how much you've blown it up but it should be fine once printed, which tends to hide some stuff that's visible on screen.
Do you know how it's being printed? (C-type, inkjet...)

Ah yeah, that's the technique I was half remembering. Perfect. Not sure regarding the print type, it's for a wealthy farmer near me, build a massive house looking over the Tay.

That would look great on metallic c-type...

I've had some small ish on inkjet metallic but I agree, metallic c type is what it deserves.
But who to do it big and frame it?

Printspace will post it back to you in a day or two...
They're the only place I've used for large c-type stuff but I'm sure there's others.

+1 for Printspace. Large prints they've done for me have always been excellent.
