Oh that's nice to hear.
No offense, but you're the only person I know that keeps complaining about this.
I agree with you it fucks up the 'Following' page somewhat, but also, like miro said, it's nice because you don't have to check all new posts of a thread if all you're interested in is a reply to something you asked / don't have time to read through it all. -

I like the @ reply function. I don't regularly check all threads so it means I don't miss things.

I have no idea how the "@" thing notifies me of a reply, I don't believe I have ever been so notified. Thrilling eh? I also have no idea what the following page is.

Hi guys, I have a bunch of Nikon Ais lenses that I use on my Nikon FE and i'd like to used these lenses on a DSLR for photography and filming, can any of you recommend me one that would be suitable?
Sorry for the spam, I posted in the film thread too!

I think most FX cameras and the higher level DX cameras should be able to handle them, but check Rockwell's tables.

Ha, people always knew they had a reply in the past by reading the thread. I blame Twitter. I don't like it, it's clumsy and pointless and screws up the 'following' page but it's not going to change so I don't want to clog up this thread either.
