I had a play with that how to make a faux tintype in Photoshop tutorial. Much fun would do again. @WillMelling you should do it with one of your fox portraits.

what kit did you use to get such amazing detail?!

I'd say there are 4 things I've done to get this shot:

1. Camera is OMD EM1 and lens is Panasonic 100-300, used at full zoom so 600mm 35mm equivalent.
   
2. Camera on solid tripod and 10 second timer on shutter so as little vibration as possible.
   
3. It's actually a double exposure to get the moon sharp (small aparture, high ish ISO and fast shutter speed) and like a 10 second exposure for the clouds.
   
4. Post processing, dropped the highlights and increased the contrast on the moon a bit also increased the clarity setting on the moon. Basically processed it to look how the scene looked to my eye in reality.

You'd get a similar result with any camera on a tripod and a long enough lens.

The best camera I currently have is nestled in my iPhone. You see my problem...

Ok, two options, new camera or become an astronaut and take the Iphone up to the ISS with you.

Photoben - I don't use photoshop. I use ChristianPost, a free-to-download software package for followers of the one true faith.

It allows me to make authentic olde-time images such as this one which, I think, very much captures the spirit of our Lord Jebus.
