There was cold air and moonlight last night. On a short walk through the suburbs things got a bit Mulholland Drive.

Thanks. Not really. I wish I'd had more time.
I shot this on the same same walk (different district, different vibe) ...

Hi Guys, looking for a bit of information/ your opinion.
I have always photographed on film and am now looking at getting a compact Digital camera to play around on. There are a few cameras that I have my eye on and one that probably tempts me more than the other two.
My number one choice at the moment is a Ricoh GRD IV, my mind was pretty much completely set on this but I have now been also looking at the Pentax MX-1 and the Fuji Finepix XQ1.
As far as I know the Ricoh GRD is probably the better camera for my needs which would be general arsing about taking multiple photos on the street which is what I usually use my Yashica T4 for but films expensive and I want to give digital a go.
If anyone could give their opinion on these cameras or other potential suitors sub £200 that would be really helpful.

Question is what you want really.. can't remember seing pictures of yours, but if you're used to street shooting with a T4 I guess I'd go for a fast digital camera with a prime lens (like the GRD IV).
There's loads of other digital cameras you could look at, hard to beat the quality of a T4 with proper film /dev / scan sub £200 though.. -

Is the Sony RX100 better/worse than the Panasonic Lumix TZ70?

ye the GRD IV and the Pentax MX-1 are the 2 that are kind of swaying my vote at the moment.
I pretty much just mooch about and shoot whatever grabs my attention so a prime lens definitely would suit. I love the Yashica and will still shoot on it all the time but I thought it would be nice to try out something digital for a bit.
Here's a couple flicks from my most recent roll for attention:

@c0gsucker cheers dude, I was trying to replicate that famous Kassovitz shot from La Haine
If anyone would like dibs on a mint Ricoh GX100 (+VF1, premium case, cap, 2x batteries, 2x chargers) for one hundred English pounds... let me know before I part exchange.
It can do 24mm, snap focus and is ace for street stuff but I'd like something with more flash control.
