X series are all twitchy bastards, but when you get the shot, it somehow makes it worth it. Still get decked out by the quality mine kicks out.

I have mainly been using film cameras for the last couple of years and its the first digital camera that I have really liked the colours of. I can see why some people may get frustrated with the auto focus but you can switch to manual focus with focus peaking so quick that it seems like a none issue. I chose between the x100t and the a7 but I felt like I would treat the a7 like a dslr and never bring it with me but I can carry the x100t around all day and no one will ever notice it. The aperture on the lens really sold me too because I'm used to older manual cameras.

Depends on use. Coming off the big ass SLR's to this, it's not exactly the most reliable of cameras when It comes to focus. I don't 'stop and shoot' per se, so it's been a learning curve for me to get used to how it sometimes searches before hitting the sweet focus spot.
I've learnt to ignore it's searching and just bang out the shot, zone focus or sweet talk it before hitting the shutter button.
For all it's frustrating traits, I love the pictures it produces. Always fun using it. -

Some shots from a 5 day ride across the Alps. All taken with my Em5 and Panasonic 14mm prime (28mm equiv).
Lens was great, but I'd quite like to try something a little different for a while - anyone interested in swapping for 35mm or 50mm equivalent prime for 4/3? Mine is in perfect condition.

Great shots, sounds like a really good trip.
I've got a pretty heft M4/3 lens collection but unfortunately I already have the 14mm. I'd recommend the Oly 45mm 1.8 and the Panasonic / Lecia 25mm. They have both really dropped in price since I bought them.
