There is an app called OnOne Perfect Effects, v9 is free as it's an older version, it can be used as a Lightroom / Photoshop plugin as well as a stand alone app. It has loads of presets and some basic controls, it might be worth taking a look.

Yeah! It was lusting after my sandwich, which I shared (99.99% me, 0.01% for the squirrel).
If only bike companies could learn a thing or two from the squirrel's tail posture when designing seat-tubes with wheel cutouts..
(I realise the exposure geeks may have a thing or two to say, but this was a one handed effort, and the camera was on auto)
