Yeah. Make sure the tension is nice and tight though (it's very adjustable). I have managed to unclip from them going up hills just pulling very hard.......which was fun

I've been commuting on a pair of those for a couple of years damo. That's a good price for them too, definitely worth it.

^There might be something in that.
I've got SPDs, and I sometimes get a little unclippage when at maximum uphill welly.
Then again, there's always someone with a "Well you might think they're spiffy, but I've...". I've half a mind to take myself with a pinch of salt.

Oh gawd, I missed this so I could be at home with my beloved, without the kid at home, for the evening.
We argued.
I made chutney.
It was rubbish.

I usually find that when opting out of a ride in order to 'spend quality time together', a row is on the cards because I'll be a bit fidgety, and she'll pick up on it and start saying, 'you should've gone out on your fucking stupid ride with your *forum *friends then, you cunt'.
The option that's worked better, is to promise to 'make sweet sweet chutney' on your return from the ride. You'll be completely wired, and a bit feral from charging around the lanes in the darkness, and therefore perform like a fucking animal, or as James Brown called it, a machine for the facilitation of sex. She'll be ecstatic, and you'll be able to get to sleep post-ride (post-ride).

Haha at all this^^
Yeah I should have known it would be a washout.
For the record, I couldn't have made chutney after the ride, it takes three hours to reduce properly ... yes I really made chutney. It turned out crap, really bitter. I think the plums I gathered from a hedgerow were too tart. Doh. I'll give it my final verdict tonight but I have a feeling I'll be throwing it all away.
I just said all that to raise the tone a bit and to assure any casual observers (or goth observers for that matter) that I really did attempt to make a preserve last night.
